“Michael perfectly captured the joy of our wedding day…”

We had Michael for both our engagement shoot and our entire wedding and he captured the most gorgeous photos for us! He was incredibly professional and helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera as well as getting all the shots we wanted (and more!). He genuinely made our day so special and memorable! Michael has been the photographer for so many of our friends' weddings and always does a stunning job. His photos are beautiful. He is unobtrusive and we barely noticed him during the day, yet he captured every moment perfectly, from the bridal entry, to the games, to the reactions to the speeches. We could not recommend him highly enough.

Michael was our photographer for our wedding in April. We had our engagement shoot a year before at the venue so we could work out what worked well. Michael was so flexible in dates and time that suited us and happily travelled the distance. Michael was so great at making both of us feeling at ease at both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. He took amazing photos and even stood on a roof to get the group shot! Michael was so quick with returning our photos and we could not be happier with them! Thank you Michael!

Michael excelled at making us feel comfortable and fun in front of the camera during both our engagement shoot and wedding day. We had a small wedding but Michael fit seamlessly in and captured beautiful authentic photos. We particularly loved the thoughtful photos of small details throughout the day and the candid photos of all of our guests laughing and having fun. Michael was responsive, helpful and we would without reservation have him photograph any other event we have in the future.

Having never been professionally photographed before, we didn’t know what to expect. Michael made us feel so comfortable and talked us through everything so we knew what to do. He fitted in as part of our day and we are over the moon with our wedding photos! Our day was captured perfectly and we couldn’t be happier.

How can we begin. Not only has Michael perfectly captured what our day looked like, but he has also managed to capture what the day felt like, from start to end. The pictures tell a story of the day and it is a story we just can't stop looking at. We love how the joy we were feeling is so clear on the page and we know in the years to come as our friends and family groups grow, we can reminisce on these pictures and be taken right back to those moments. 

Michael also made the atmosphere on the day so relaxed! From the anticipation of the bridal suite, to the reverence of the ceremony, to the romance of the couples shoot, and the community of the wedding breakfast, Michael matched the vibe every time. 

He was able to take pictures and also help keep us on schedule and bring his own creativity that we weren't able to think of. Michael also worked really well with the videographer and it was great to watch them share ideas and support each other in their art form. The result was a day of fun, joy, and beautiful pictures. Michael took our wedding photos in November 2023, and did a marvellous job. He followed our brief wonderfully well - we wanted a very small selection of staged photos (bare minimum), and then for him to capture pictures throughout the day of us and our guests having fun. He nailed it. He took masses of wonderful pictures, and we barely noticed that he was there.

His photos were just what we wanted. He also gave us an engagement photo shoot as part of the package, which we were very glad of.
